Registered Nurse in a Neuro Stepdown unit
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and monitor telemetry
- Administer IV medications and respond promptly to patient status changes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to deliver personalized care
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans
- Support safe patient discharges and ongoing recovery
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license and relevant clinical experience
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
