About the role
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Hospital
Department/Specialty: Stepdown/Neuro
Schedule: Full Time Nights
How you'll make an impact in this role
- Work in a high-acuity, 46-bed unit where the patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:3-4
- Patients come from the ER or are transferred from the Trauma Neuro ICU and MICU
- Wide range of diagnoses: Trauma Injuries, Craniotomy, Laminectomy, Discectomy
- Act as the Clinical Liaison by translating complex medical plans into clear, compassionate language
- Engage in effective team collaboration, including rapid response and initiative participation
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

- Previous inpatient experience is preferred
