About the Role
Provide professional nursing care following state regulations and hospital policies. Employ critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, record observations, delegate tasks, and collaborate with team members to achieve unit goals in a Neuro and Cardiac ICU setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized care in a Neuro and Cardiac ICU environment
- Monitor patient status and recognize clinical changes
- Ensure quality patient outcomes through evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Adhere to clinical standards and hospital protocols
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification (must be obtained within six months of employment)
- At least 5 years of RN critical care experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing preferred.
