About the Role
Provide specialized critical care to cardiac and neurological patients in the Cardiac Neuro ICU as an RN Weekender.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and the Illinois RN Practice Act.
- Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and plan and evaluate care.
- Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve unit goals.
- Utilize critical thinking, patient assessment, care planning, and teamwork in a fast-paced ICU setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing preferred; minimum 5 years of critical care RN experience required.
- Current Illinois RN license.
- CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS).
- ACLS certification required within six months of employment.
