About the role
Southern Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at the Sauk County Jail in Baraboo, WI. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with evenings free, no weekends, and no rotating shifts or mandatory holiday rotations. It’s an opportunity to practice meaningful nursing with a stable patient population, build strong assessment skills, and work alongside experienced providers.
Schedule
- Full Time: Monday through Friday
- 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- No weekends
- No rotating shifts
- No mandatory holiday rotations
Pay
Sign-on and retention bonuses are available. DailyPay is also offered.
Responsibilities
- Performing nursing assessments
- Administering medications and treatments
- Responding to urgent medical situations
- Collaborating with providers and correctional staff
- Educating patients
- Maintaining electronic medical documentation
- Using critical thinking in every shift
