About the role
DaVita is seeking an organized, self-directed RN to manage Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) patients. As a Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (PD RN), you’ll educate patients and caregivers in-clinic, enabling them to perform dialysis independently at home!
Responsibilities
- Train patients and caregivers on PD procedures and self-care
- Manage a caseload of PD patients, including assessments and care planning
- Maintain treatment progress, conduct home visits, and provide on-call support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 12 months of RN experience
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook)
Qualifications
- No dialysis experience required
- Nephrology nursing provides a fresh lens and set of skills
- Patient education or teaching background preferred
- Case management or telehealth experience preferred
- CNN or CDN certification preferred
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Location
Flexible Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule
No weekends or holidays
Will be covering census in one facility; but must be flexible to support in other surrounding home facility centers as needed including but not limited to: New London and Norwich, CT.
Compensation
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
