RN - WCMC - Neonatal ICU - Full Time - 12 Hour - Nights
About the Role
The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame. The RN uses John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, American Nurses Association's (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act (Title 22 and Title 16) to provide care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, environment, and technology in partnership with interdisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care for a group of patients.
- Delegate and supervise care delivered by other team members.
- Utilize the nursing process and technology to deliver patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care.
- Adhere to John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA Standards, and California Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Required).
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience in Medical Acute Care (Required).
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years RN experience within NICU.
Qualifications
- Active RN license from the California Board of Nursing (Required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (Required).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from the American Heart Association (Must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
- Clinical specialty certification (Preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $87.06 - $118.62. Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour shift (19:00 - 08:00).
- Scheduled weekly hours: 36.
