Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
- Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Empathetically cares for patients at all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.

About the Role
This position is located at Sanford Vermillion Medical Center in Vermillion, SD. It offers a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts, every other to every third weekend availability, and the opportunity to cross-train in the Emergency Department or Labor & Delivery.
Schedule
Varying shifts available, typically 20 hours per week.
Pay
$33.50 - $48.00 per hour.
