RN Vascular Pre/Post Nurse
About the role
Dakota Vascular in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a dedicated Pre and Post Procedural RN to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the care and treatment of patients undergoing vascular procedures, providing comprehensive nursing care before and after their procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday — 10-hour shifts. No call, no nights, no holidays, and no weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients' pre-procedure health status
- Preparing patients for procedures and providing education on what to expect
- Monitoring patients during and after procedures
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Experience in vascular nursing
- Strong understanding of pre and post procedural care
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
