RN Unit Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team at Maple City Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hornell, NY. As a leader in our facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring the highest quality of care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the nursing units, including staff management, patient care, and facility operations
• Develops and implements policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
• Conducts performance evaluations, provides coaching and training, and addresses employee concerns
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
• Makes sure the unit is productive, meets quality metrics, and residents are satisfied
• Participates in facility-wide quality improvement initiatives and committees
• Demonstrates a commitment to excellence, innovation, and teamwork

Requirements

• Current New York State RN licensure
• 2+ years of experience in a nursing leadership role
• Strong clinical and management skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
