Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of a 46-bed short-term rehabilitation unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Ensure compliance with all NYS Department of Health and CMS regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and discharge planning.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, and resident satisfaction.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, residents, and families.
Qualifications
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License (RN).
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing management or supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Prominent ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team culture.
