Responsibilities
- Support the DON and ADON in overseeing daily nursing operations.
- Supervise professional and non-professional staff, ensuring quality care delivery.
- Manage unit staffing to maintain proper coverage and minimize overtime/agency use.
- Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion.
- Provide coaching, progressive counseling, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Oversee MDS completion and quality assurance initiatives.
- Teach, demonstrate, and evaluate nursing skills to support staff development.
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of nursing personnel.
- Attend committee meetings and contribute to facility-wide goals.
- Step into nursing responsibilities on weekends/holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN license in New York.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar setting (preferred).
- Previous long-term care experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.

Schedule
Full-Time | 7am-3pm
Pay
$115,000 - $120,000 annually
