RN Triage - Physical Medicine & Rehab

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehab to provide patient care via inbound and outbound phone consultations.

Responsibilities

• Assess caller needs and provide phone triage and patient management
• Deliver patient education and assist with device placement (e.g., continuous Glucose Monitor management)
• Coordinate insurance pre-authorization and referrals
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Current CPR certification (AHA)
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to handle high-stress situations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or lift up to 40 lbs for prolonged periods

Qualifications

• Preferred: Office RN experience and BSN degree
