RN Triage - Orthopedics

Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Ortho Location: Elmhurst and Lombard, IL Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week Role Overview: The Triage Nurse (RN) provides patient care via inbound and outbound calls, assessing needs through active listening, clinical evaluation, and education. Responsibilities include phone triage, patient education, continuous glucose monitor management, insurance pre-authorization, referrals, and maintaining exam rooms. The role requires travel to multiple locations and flexible hours. Qualifications & Skills: Current Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification (AHA), preferred office RN and BSN, ability to handle high-stress situations, physical ability to stand/walk/bend, lift up to 40 lbs., and communicate effectively in English.
