About the role
The Triage RN is responsible for managing patient care needs within the orthopedic surgery department. Duties include assessing and providing nursing actions as appropriate, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage calls and messages requiring RN triage
- Partner with colleagues to manage shared in-basket
- Follow triage guidelines
- Support clinical operations in maintaining regulatory compliance
- Support clinical staff with medical concerns or emergencies
- Practice autonomous nursing care consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
- RN License issued by the State of California
- BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date
- Minimum of three (3) years of active nursing experience
- Two (2) years of Orthopedic Surgery RN experience
- Triage nursing experience
- Recent Ambulatory Orthopedic Clinic/Triage experience

Pay
Annual Full Pay Range: $138,330 - $193,892 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
