Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN collaborates with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care, and demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Care is provided across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move along the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other inter‑professional team members to coordinate care.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to age‑ and population‑specific standards.
• Provide care for patients in preventative, diagnostic, treatment, and follow‑up phases.
• Plan and coordinate care, conduct patient assessments, deliver patient education, and perform triage.
• Perform various nursing interventions as required by the clinical setting.
• Maintain compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, state administrative rules, and the ANA Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (or multistate licensure in an NLC state).
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel nursing experience.
• Residence at least 60 miles from the assignment location.
• Maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary Range: $2,812

Schedule

• 12‑hour rotating shifts
• 36 weekly hours
