Responsibilities
- Extends the healing ministry of Christ by providing compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Administers and calculates medications, monitoring patient responses according to protocols.
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
- Provides emergency care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Transports patients safely, remaining alert to hazards and using radio communications effectively.
- Obtains nursing histories and evaluates age-appropriate behavior, motor skills, and physiological norms.
- Develops and modifies individualized care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educates patients and families on care plans and health management.
- Communicates patient updates to physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintains proficiency in the use of department systems and equipment.
- Supervises and coordinates patient transfers and transport logistics.
Requirements
- Associate's of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT) - Accredited Issuing Body
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Qualifications
- Experience in acute/critical care preferred.
- Experience with neonatal/pediatric transport preferred.
- Experience with trauma care preferred.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient care documentation.

Pay
$32.76 - $57.47 per hour
Schedule
Full time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts
Shift: Nights, 5:30 pm – 6:00 am (with weekend rotation)
