About the role

This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to build positive relationships. The incumbent must lead others and take appropriate action when necessary. You will provide patient care in challenging environments with exposure to motion, vibration, extreme temperatures, and confined spaces. The role demands physical strength to lift, push, or pull at least 150 lbs and the ability to respond to visual, verbal, and non-verbal commands. Candidates may be exposed to hazardous chemicals and infectious materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely secure seat belts and harnesses in aircraft or ambulances without modification.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years in Neonatal or Pediatric critical care or Emergency Department experience.
• CCR or C-NPT certification required within two years of hire.
• NRP certification needed for Pediatrics and Neonatal within six months.
• ACLS certification within six months.
