About the role
Seeking an experienced perioperative nurse with advanced surgical skills to provide care in cardiovascular, thoracic, and multi-specialty surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and plan individualized nursing interventions.
- Lead and coordinate care for complex surgical cases, delegating tasks effectively and prioritizing patient needs.
- Communicate with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure optimal care and address concerns.
- Mentor less-experienced nurses and technicians, apply evidence-based practices, and stay current with surgical nursing techniques.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical judgment and ensure safety in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- At least one year of advanced surgical nursing experience.
- Current RN license in applicable states with BLS certification.

Schedule
