About the role
As a transplant coordinator, you will oversee the patients' progress from the time they are referred through their transplant surgery; educate patients and their supports about the many facets of transplantation; assist in the clinical management of patients, and ensure high quality, regulatory compliant service is provided.Responsibilities
- Oversight of patients’ progress from referral to transplant surgery
- Educate patients and their supporters about transplantation
- Aid in the clinical management of patients

- On-call requirement for transplant coordination
Requirements
- At least three years of acute care experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Physician Assistant studies
- Current New York State RN OR PA license
- BCLS certification
Qualifications
- Preferred: Transplant experience, ICU or PACU experience
- Self-motivated, energetic, autonomous

- Excellent communication skills
