About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 43-bed NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit specializing in acute and chronic digestive surgical patients, including bariatric, trauma, and advanced care cases.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Providing post-operative care for complex surgical populations such as wound management, ostomy education, and ventilator care

Qualifications

• An Illinois RN license
• BLS certification
• A nursing diploma

Skills

• Strong skills in wound vacs
• Drains
• IV therapy
• Telemetry monitoring
