Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessments and develops individualized care plans
• Implements and modifies nursing interventions based on ongoing evaluations
• Documents care accurately for team integration
• Ensures patient and staff safety by addressing hazards
• Communicates effectively with colleagues and patients
• Offers feedback for professional growth
• Manages post-operative care, complex wound care, and education on ostomies
• Collaborates with surgical residency teams

Requirements

• An active RN license
• BLS certification
• A high school diploma or GED
