Provide direct nursing care in an 18-bed orthopedic unit specializing in surgical patients, including orthopedic, bariatric, and neurosurgical procedures. The unit emphasizes quick recovery, high-quality care, and strong team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Execute physician and nursing orders
- Assist with discharge planning
- Ensure patient safety and communicate effectively
- Support discharge processes to promote optimal recovery and patient satisfaction
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
