About the role
Provides direct nursing care in an orthopedic, bariatric, and neurosurgical unit, ensuring patient needs are met with excellence. Responsible for implementing and monitoring care plans, communicating patient conditions, serving as a primary coordinator among disciplines, and executing physician and nursing orders. Assesses discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care according to policies and protocols
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts for patient care
- Carry out physician and nursing orders
- Plan and coordinate discharge processes
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid RN license or be eligible
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Professional licensure at the time of hiring
