RN - Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit - Full Time - Night

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit in a fast-paced, 30-bed environment. This role involves delivering patient care using the nursing process, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Key duties include providing safe, compassionate care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries, general procedures, and specialized treatments such as bariatric surgery and sepsis management.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Provide safe and compassionate care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries, general procedures, and specialized treatments (e.g., bariatric surgery, sepsis management)

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Graduation from an accredited RN program
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing and movement
