RN - Surgical Care Unit - Days

Role: Registered Nurse - Surgical Care Unit Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care following hospital policies and the Illinois Registered Nurse Practice Act. Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and collaborate as part of a healthcare team to achieve unit goals. Adapt duties based on the assigned unit or shift. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (preferred) or Associate Degree with a plan to complete a Bachelor’s within five years if applicable.At least 1+ years of RN experience in an inpatient setting.Current Illinois RN licensure.CPR certification from American Heart Association or Basic Life Support. Key Duties: Deliver safe, effective patient care through critical thinking, assessment, documentation, and teamwork.
