About the role
Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizes patient wellness, and models proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Works in a fast-paced, innovative environment, contributing to safety and quality at the point of care.
Responsibilities
- Performs top-of-scope nursing duties on specialty Med-Surg units with moderate to high patient acuity
- Values teamwork, patient-centered care, and continuous learning
- Supports safety, security, and adherence to clinical standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state
- Minimum six months of RN nursing experience
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire
