RN - Acute Care - Nights

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, adhering to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics. Responsibilities Include Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—tailored to individual patient needs.Delivering relationship-based, culturally sensitive care that involves patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making.Coordinating safe, quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration, timely documentation, and promotion of a respectful clinical environment.Supporting professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring colleagues, and serving as a preceptor.Promoting evidence-based practice, participating in performance improvement, research, and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes.Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and legal requirements, including participation in data collection and clinical research activities. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred or within 180 days.Less than one year of clinical experience or completion of approved nursing program.Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
