RN SUPERVISOR PD evening

Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct nursing services to patients in collaboration with unit staff.
• Coordinate nursing personnel services.
• Function in both a managerial and clinical role to assure adherence to and support of institutional philosophy and policy in nursing practice.
• Promote continuity of approach in both the managerial and clinical areas through collaboration with other disciplines and nursing colleagues on other shifts.
• Assume administrative duties, maintain levels of nursing staffing, and be responsible for patient care requirements throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York.
• Progressive experience in Nursing Administration.
• Strong leadership and administrative ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Schedule

3:00pm-11:15pm - Scheduled a minimum of one weekend per month (Sat. and Sun.) and additional time as needed.

Available to attend a minimum of one week of orientation from 8:00am-4:15pm.

Must be available to attend a minimum of one week of orientation from 8:00am-4:15pm.
