About the role
Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join their team in Utica, NY.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet resident care requirements
- Provide support to residents and families to establish a compassionate environment
- Answer questions and requests from residents and staff, providing necessary information
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing rules and regulations
- Monitor confidential information processing to ensure resident confidence
- Document resident care services accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare teams to promote a cooperative relationship
Requirements
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Have at least 3 years of Long-Term Care experience
- Be a strong and positive Team Director for all staff members
- Be familiar with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and prescribing programs
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have basic computer skills
