About the role
We provide skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital, needing therapy & to those needing long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Assist to implement & revise care plans, monitors health conditions, supplements direct care needs & responds to emergencies or changes in status
- Manages coverage needs, evaluates staff performance, educates & leads staff
- Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Reviews and investigates incidents, transcribes orders, audits medical charges and maintains record compliance for accuracy
- Explain health status, changes and expectations for care, guides and direct care skills with intervention as needed
Requirements
- Prior Long Term Care Experience
Qualifications
- Licensed to work within the State of Maryland as a RN Registered Nurse
- Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation
- Excels in leadership and clinical competency
