RN Supervisor Evening shift/Full time
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our evening shift team at the Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in New Haven, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care
- Provide direct patient care and support as needed, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and respectful work environment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and implement best practices in patient care
- Collaborate with other departments, such as social work, therapy, and dietary, to ensure comprehensive care for our residents
- Manage and coordinate the scheduling of staff, ensuring adequate coverage and maintaining efficient workflow
- Participate in on-call coverage and provide emergency support as needed
