Evening Shift Supervisor (RN)

Lakeside Health & Rehab Center is seeking a confident, compassionate, and dependable Evening Nursing Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and support during our 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys being a resource for their team, solving problems, and ensuring residents receive the exceptional care they deserve. As Evening Nursing Supervisor, you will play an important role in keeping nursing operations running smoothly while supporting both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff during the evening shift
• Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered care
• Serve as the primary clinical resource and leader during assigned hours
• Support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other members of the nursing team
• Respond to changes in resident condition, clinical concerns, and urgent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary team members
• Assist with staffing needs and ensure appropriate coverage throughout the shift
• Ensure nursing documentation, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed
• Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, and a positive work environment
• Provide hands-on clinical support when needed

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Virginia
• Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute experience preferred
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively lead and support a nursing team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
