RN Supervisor, Center City Skilled Nursing Center (Call-In, All Shifts)

About the role

The Supervisor, RN Shift is responsible for the supervision of the Skilled Nursing facility for his/her particular shift. They also oversee administrative and professional working policies, supervise and delegate responsibilities, and ensure clinical duties and unit activities meet quality patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate responsibilities to ensure quality patient care
• Administer and enforce administrative and professional working policies
• Provide care appropriate to the age of the residents served on the unit
• Achieve resident requirements based on age-specific needs
• Assess and interpret data reflective of the resident's status
• Exercise full supervision over all disciplines in the absence of Administration

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years work experience as a Registered Nurse in a long-term care setting required with one (1) year in a supervisory capacity

Special Employment Requirements

• Clearances required: PA State Police criminal history check and PA Department of Aging FBI fingerprint clearance (if applicable)
• Current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners required
• Demonstrated administrative ability, supervisory capabilities, and reliability
• Good management skills
• CPR Certification required or must be obtained and maintained
• Maintain standards of nursing care and implement policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Allied Services
• Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations
