Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that may affect desired resident outcomes.
- Monitor and ensure that daily resident care needs are met, and that appropriate care is provided.
- Address resident and staff concerns in order to maintain and improve the quality of care.
- Supervise staff nurses and CNAs, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and to the highest standards.
- Make rounds of resident rooms to observe and assess residents' physical and emotional states.
- Provide direct nursing care as needed, including administering treatments and medications.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with established policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Remain flexible and ready to perform services or assignments within the scope of an RN’s practice.
Qualifications
- Valid, current RN license.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and regulations related to long-term care.
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a long-term care facility.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Cover letter and resume required.
