About the role
The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff at a local healthcare facility, ensuring patient care standards are met and promoting a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing department
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies
- Mentor and train new nurses to improve clinical skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care
- Manage staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
