About the role

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff at a local healthcare facility, ensuring patient care standards are met and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies
• Mentor and train new nurses to improve clinical skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care
• Manage staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
