About the Role

RN Supervisor in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, overseeing, and supervising unit activities and staff assignments.
• Demonstrating clinical expertise consistent with Nursing Practice standards.
• Monitoring, observing, and documenting vital signs, treatments, and patient responses.
• Administering medications and treatments as needed.
• Communicating with interdisciplinary teams, residents, families, and medical staff.
• Identifying and responding to patient needs promptly.
• Leading emergency responses such as fire alarms and elopements.
• Maintaining accurate reports, staffing sheets, and census records.
• Performing assessments following incidents or changes in patient condition.

Requirements

• Current RN license in New York with good standing.
• Experience with geriatric, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer's patients preferred.
• Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and collaborate well with staff.
• Patience and dedication to providing compassionate, quality care.
• Willingness to assist residents and co-workers as needed.
