RN Supervisor Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

About the role

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Waxahachie is seeking a Supervisor Nurse Procedural RN to join our team. The position oversees 2 operating rooms and manages a team of 14 staff members. Hours are full-time, days, with no call required. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in the GI Lab at the main hospital.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned nursing and unit-based personnel to provide a safe, caring environment for patients, family, and staff.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' plans of care.
• Identify potential problems and resources for patients and families.
• Ensure staff maintains competency based on standards of practice for patient population.
• Provide nursing care as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Surgical Procedures.
• Prior Supervisor Experience.
• OR Experience.
• Previous ASC Experience.

• Prior Charge Nurse Experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• 2 years of experience in a related field.
