RN Step Down ICU

About the role

Registered Nurse in the Step Down ICU, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to medically complex, high-acuity patients transitioning from ICU.

Responsibilities

• Continuous patient assessment and monitoring, including hemodynamic and cardiac parameters
• Titration of IV medications and management of ventilator and respiratory support
• Patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement in care
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge in critical care nursing
• Ability to perform continuous assessment and monitor complex vital parameters
• Proficiency in managing IV drips, ventilators, and respiratory support equipment
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Collaborative team player with a focus on patient-centered care
