About the Role

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH) is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit facility located in Ste. Genevieve, MO. Our 25-inpatient bed hospital is Medicare 4-star rated and ranked in the top 1% nationally for Patient Safety, Quality, and Efficiency. We focus on personalized, compassionate healthcare with deep community roots as the oldest town west of the Mississippi River and the first French settlement in Missouri. The hospital employs approximately 400 employees and 100 multi-specialty providers.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver care to a team of assigned patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Be proficient with clinical skills, assessments, critical thinking, and time management.
• Work in a collaborative team environment.
• Use critical thinking, excellent clinical assessment, and communication skills.
• Deliver personal, compassionate care with excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain an average nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.

Requirements

• Current Missouri RN license.
• Previous Med Surg experience (1-3 years preferred) or related experience desired.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience required.
