Responsibilities
- Identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
- Plans and delegates care based on patient needs.
- Evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes.
- Accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
- Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
- BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
- ACLS certification required within one year of hire.
