About the role

We provide direct patient care in a specialty unit, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include coordinating care, delegating tasks, and educating patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and support needs.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
• May precept student nurses and new hires.
• Evaluates learning needs of the patient and family and provides appropriate education.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on assessment to optimize outcomes and resource utilization.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient condition and communicates effectively with healthcare team.

Requirements

• Accredited Program: Nursing (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL) (Required)

Qualifications

• One (1) year of nursing experience required.
