RN - SICU

About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital's SICU is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Delegates patient care tasks to other patient care staff
• Supervises other patient care staff
• Carefully coordinates the care for a group of patients
• Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated

Requirements

The Registered Professional Nurse must have a current RN license in West Virginia and a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in West Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred

Pay

The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
