RN-Short Stay Observation Unit
Summary
To deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies.
Position Highlights
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide individualized, high-quality care to cancer patients and their families in alignment with hospital standards, the ANA Code of Ethics, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
- Integrate patient- and family-centered care principles and quality caring factors into daily practice.
- Provide patient education based on individual learning needs.
- Participate in evidence-based improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Credentials & Qualifications
- Education: BSN with 1 year of relevant experience or ASN with 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
- Licensure: Current Florida RN license.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).
Pay
Salary Range $35.05 - $52.56
