RN Residency - Spring 2027

Overview This role offers a comprehensive transition-to-practice program designed to develop new graduate nurses into competent professionals through education, mentorship, and peer support. Participants will enhance clinical judgment, communication skills, and professional socialization across various departments such as Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency, Women’s Services, and more. The staff nurse provides patient-centered care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while adhering to organizational policies. Key responsibilities include delivering quality nursing care, coordinating patient activities, and demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Required qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license in Georgia, and BLS certification. Leadership skills, effective communication, initiative, and the ability to handle stress are essential. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and specialty certifications.
