RN - Registered Nurse - Wound Care (no weekends)

The Wound Care Registered Nurse at BayCare provides specialized care to a sub-specialty group of patients, applying the nursing process and clinical standards consistently. Responsibilities

• Care for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
• Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence

Requirements

• RN license is required
• BLS is required
• Experience: 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s in Nursing
