Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for residents on the unit assigned
- Review complaints and grievances made or filed by staff and make appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as needed
- Ensure an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, and equipment is maintained on the unit at all times
- Manage staff, make nursing/aide assignments, conduct nursing rounds throughout the shift, and provide education to staff, residents, and family members as needed
- Assist in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident
- Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
- Cook with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
- Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Current AHA BLS CPR Certification (recommended)
- Strong leader with 3+ years of experience in subacute/long term care

Schedule
- Full-time, dayshift, Mon-Fri plus weekend on-call rotation
