About the role
Responsible for supervising nursing staff, managing resident care, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record medical histories, monitor vital signs, and observe treatment progress
- Administer medications and injections, collect lab samples, and provide emotional support
- Communicate with residents' families, offer comfort, and deliver quality geriatric care
- Supervise nursing staff, ensure accurate documentation, and monitor residents' conditions
- Maintain compliance and uphold high standards of care in a mission-driven setting
Qualifications
- Current NY RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in LTC/Rehab setting
- At least 1 year of nursing supervisory experience
- Knowledge of MDS 3.0, DOH/CMS regulations, and EHR systems
- Associates degree in Nursing or higher
