We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Registered Nurse Supervisor Night Shift to join our team at Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a 142-bed facility located in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.

About the role

As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, leading by example, and mentoring our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supervision to a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients under your supervision
• Conduct nursing assessments, identify areas of improvement, and recommend changes to the care plan as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to new employees
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient satisfaction and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient charts and shift reports
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional care

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize patient care and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work evening shifts, including nights and weekends
