Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other healthcare personnel on the evening shift
- Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the delivery of individualized care to each resident
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care, identify areas for improvement, and address concerns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes
- Mentor and coach nursing staff, promoting professional development and a culture of excellence
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance care delivery and patient satisfaction
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on long-term care or rehabilitation nursing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing principles and practices
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
